Since 2007, we have been working with clients of all shapes and sizes all over the world. There isn't a challenge we wouldn't love to tackle, so let us know how we can help.
But before we completely bore you about our history, let's take a look at some of the things we do:
Developing a brand is essential to creating a strong, unique representation of your company and the service you offer. With research, brainstorming, and refinement, we develop a long-term idea that will leave an impression in the minds of your customer.
It's not enough to just have a website, you've got to have a great website. From design to coding, we approach each website as a challenge that deserves a unique response. Through strategy, planning, and design that reflects your brand, we develop a custom solution that is sure to make you stand out.
With a deep knowledge of PHP and MySQL databases, we have the tools to automate aspects of your business that are eating up your precious hours better spent elsewhere. From simple tasks like a CMS-based website to custom e-commerce, sales and inventory reporting, quoting systems, digital assistants, and more — all built around your unique business. The sky is the limit.
We pride ourselves on our simple-yet-very-powerful custom Content Management System (CMS) tailored specifically to your website, so you can manage your website content at your own pace, with no training required.
Reduce the tedious day to day and optimize your workflow by turning to automation. We have extensive experience in discussing your challenge and determining how to best gather and optimize your data. The benefits include reducing manual workload; visualizing patterns in your data; and getting a sense of the big picture.
Here are just a few of the projects we are proud to showcase:
When Jill and Ruth at Trillium Teams saw their business rapidly expand from doing Team Building and Leadership Courses locally to a jam-packed schedule around North America, they found themselves spending a large majority of their time organizing their course registrations, keeping track of each cities attendance list, and invoicing and processing payments over the phone.
After trying to hire help to no avail, they turned to automation.
Create a website to showcase their Course Schedule and Customer Reviews, promoting their exciting locations in luxury venues around the world. It was important to develop a system where they could schedule a date, and let the website do the rest.
Through the website we developed, users could register, pay, and instantly receive a receipt with details about their upcoming course. On the back end, Jill and Ruth could quickly see which courses were filling up; pull attendance lists; and pull their sales reports for accounting.

When Luke from Protest The Hero wanted us to make a guitar tab book for their band's record Fortress in 2010, we had no idea how far it would go. One book turned into two, which turned in to five, and fast forward to 2018, and we have designed and laid out over 115 books for various artists on Sheet Happens!
In 2012, we developed a custom e-commerce website for Sheet Happens, when they only had 4 books in the catalogue. Needless to say, their extensive catalogue would go on to outgrow our original vision and in 2018, it was time for a complete overhaul.
Their new website better showcases and organizes their catalogue and leaves a lot of room to grow.
In the backend, the Sheet Happens team can:
It has been a pleasure to be a part of the ride and to play such a major role in the day to day operations.
After a few years of running an up and coming music festival, the Six Shooter Records team found themselves spending countless hours on manual transactions and shipping out printed tickets to thousands of festival-goers.
In 2015, they came to us for a re-designed and completely custom E-Commerce website where they could sell their music, both physically and digitally, and most importantly, sell tickets digitally for their festivals. These tickets would need to be generated on checkout, delivered as a PDF by email to the customer, and then be able to scan those through mobile devices at the events.
Through their backend, the SS team can:
In late 2016, Garrett at Bird Attack Records approached us with the idea of opening a vinyl brokerage. With our great experience working together on Bird Attack, and excitement in the idea, we ended up partnering to create Merchant Vinyl.
Through experiences playing in bands, we knew that vinyl was both expensive and extremely complicated to produce. Our goal was to take the complexity and create a company that made the process easy and accessible, and ideally more affordable by saving money on extra employees through automation.
We spent the following months branding Merchant Vinyl, creating a first-phase website that could serve as a place where new customers could submit their order information for quotes, and grab their artwork templates and forms needed for submission.
The biggest challenge we found was how to quote each order, as there are endless combinations of colours, paper stocks, and other details. Our supplier's pricing system had thousands of variations all with different conditions. Due to the complexity, we had to email our supplier for each quote, usually meaning days of delay.
Over a few months, using php, MySQL, and endless lines of conditional code, we were able to develop a system that took all of their conditions into account and created a proper workflow.
Now when a user submitted a quote, we could enter their specs, and be provided with a recommended price. We could then apply a discount where needed, and then generate a branded PDF quote to send them. This turned a process that took days into one that took minutes, and we were able to properly track all incoming quotes for proper followups.
The first two years were a great learning experience for Merchant Vinyl with lots of ups and downs as we got our feet wet in the industry. In the coming months, Merchant will be undergoing a major revamp of the website and working to further automate the day to day operations.
We teamed up with Channel 13 Design as the development team for a large scale project for Red Tag Vacations.
The task was to rebrand an existing company as a Luxury travel brand targeting Villas in Exotic Locations. The Channel 13 team was responsible for design and content sourcing, while it was up to us to see their vision through to completion.
The largest task was building a system where the Red Tag staff could easily add, update, and manage Villas and their constantly changing Rates. We did this with a brand new Content Management System, built completely from scratch to meet their specific needs.
In late 2013, Garrett from Bird Attack contacted us about Branding and Website Development for a hobby podcast he was looking to start, where he would put together Punk Rock podcasts for lesser known bands and have weekly interviews. The website would be a place to promote this week's podcast and act as an archive for all past podcasts, where users could explore the archives by interviews and tracklistings.
His podcast quickly expanded from hobby into a record label, event promotion, and live video streaming company. Bird Attack kept Melodic busy with ongoing advertisements, podcast covers, album layouts for bands on the label.
Most recently, we rebranded and developed a microsite for Bird Attack Invasion Festival in Quebec (2017).
